This beautiful family was referred to me from another client of mine.. I love word of mouth advertising.. I met up with this wonderful family on Jekyll Island to do their portraits. This session was very important to this family because this dad was being deployed very soon after this session. I really enjoyed this family.. but most of all I enjoyed this wonderful little boy. He was so personable and fun. He told me all sorts of stories and about all the girlfriends he had.. So cute!

Portrait Studio Grand Opening – {Darien, GA Photographer}

I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Jeannie Reeves Photography is opening up a portrait studio in downtown Darien, GA. The studio is located directly across the street from the McIntosh Courthouse on HWY 17. Our Grand Opening will be held on Sept 8th at 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Please drop by to meet the photographer and have a look around the studio. There will be light refreshments served and some door prizes and discounts for all that attend.
Now let me share a few pictures of my new studio. Some are in progress pictures (which are always fun) taken with my cell phone. Who says a photographer can’t snap a few with her cell phone.. LOL

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration – {Jekyll Island, GA Photographer}

I met up with this loving family at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel to document the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents! The entire family was so fun and easy going. A lot like my own family I think. This couple celebrating their anniversary was also such a hoot. Singling songs and telling jokes.. I had such a great time with them.

Jekyll Island Beach Portraits – {Jekyll Island, GA Photographers}

Meeting new families on Jekyll Island to do their portraits is always a treat for me. We had a fun time playing around this morning rather than forcing poses and smiles. Less stressful on everyone if they can just have some fun on the beach and let the photographer capture those moments.

The Twins turn ONE! – {Jekyll Island, GA Photographer}
When I got the phone call from a mother about her twins turning ONE, I was so excited. For one thing, they are TWINS.. I so wanted to photograph twin turning 1.. Oh and that meant there would be CAKE!! In years past, birthday parties was not something that I offered, but after doing a few of them, I am realizing that they are so fun… Now Im getting more and more calls to do them. Oh and, Between weddings and birthdays.. Im eating a ton of cake. LOL

Yo Gabba Gabba Dancer – {Brunswick, GA Photographer}
I met up with this cute brother and sister in their home to do their portraits. This was the second time doing their portraits and it was so wonderful to seem them again.
Sometimes getting the attention of a toddler or young child can be difficult.. but you just have to find that right thing that keeps them in front of the camera and not running away.. for this sweet little girl it was dancing.. which was great.. cause dancing toddler are just too darn cute! She loved to dance to Yo-Gabba-Gabba that her dad played for her on his cell phone!

The Whole Family -{Jekyll Island Family Photographer}

Met up with this whole family. Sisters, grand parents, mothers fathers, cousins, aunt and uncles.. and they all managed to be wearing white.. This family has some very strong hands in it. They were visiting our beautiful Jekyll Island and staying at the new Hampton Inn on Jekyll for the celebrations of a 50th year anniversary. I have no idea exactly how many people there were.. you can count them if you wish.. LOL

The Beach Club Family Session – {St. Simons Island, Georgia Photographer}
