Thank you for visiting my blog and my website.
My name is Jeannie Reeves. I am a portrait photographer serving the Southeast Georgia area. Creating memories from the heart is my passion and bringing lasting artwork to your home is my goal. My love for photography started around 20 years ago in high school. There, I was given the opportunity to chronicle football games and after school clubs for the yearbook with a rented camera. A few years later and after the birth of my first son I was given my first film SLR camera. Producing sharp, professional looking images ignited a strong emotional connection for photography in me. The digital era made me unstoppable once I received my first digital camera. The flexibility of digital photography opened so many doors for me. As I gained experience, clicking away with the many digital cameras I owned, my passion grew even fonder allowing me to document the world through my eyes. Keeping two or three cameras in use for different purposes, even today. I exclusively use Canon cameras for its superior picture quality. That holds true even for my small point & shoot camera that I carry in my purse.
My style is fun, fast, no hassle photography. I would not necessarily say its a photo-journalistic style, but it is a looser style with hand held cameras and freestyle fun. A bit contemporary I guess.

Hi Jeannie, I just read your blog about finding newborns to photograph. I wasnt sure how to email you about it but i would love to get more information about this. I am pregnant and getting induced this saturday.

Hi Jeannie, I’ve been following your blog and enjoying your work! I am a photographer in eastern PA and have lots of compitition in this area. I do most of my work on location, esp. babies! i noticed you also do that and was wondering what type of “studio” setup you take with you? I’m trying to learn more and upgrade! BTW I also am a canon girl, using all canon equip. I have been looking for a good point & Shoot and was wondering if you would fill me in on which one you use and why.
