Starting off my image of the week with this one. This adorable little girl and her two older brothers.. Loved this session.

I met this family about a year a half ago.. Now their family has grown by one and look how adorable this family is! I love this family, they are so happy and easy going.

This weeks ~ image of the week~ is one pretty special to me. Meet Tyler. Tyler is my baby and will be turning 3 on April 12th. He is such a sweet little boy. Charming and funny all the time. I love you Tyler!

I’m sorry, I forgot about ~image of the week~ yesterday! But good things do come to those who wait right? LOL This weeks image is from one of my first (paid) clients. I still love this image and the shallow depth of field. If you have visited my blog recently or ever, you may have noticed this image in the header. I do love this one! This little girl has moved out of the area, but I would love to photograph her again.

Week 5 of ~Image of the Week~ Yay!!! I don’t photograph too many seniors, but when ever I get the chance to, I am always amazed at how beautiful senior girls are these days. I seriously do not recall any of the girls at my high school looking like these girls do. Wow.. this weeks image of the week is of this beautiful senior girl!

This little girl was from one of my earlier sessions a couple years ago. I could not believe how adorable she was. She deserves to be this weeks ~Image of the Week~

Time again for ~Image of the Week~ This week my middle son turns 4 years old, Ryan. He is the hardest to get photos of I think, because he is such a clown like his dad.. Always playing and joking around. Happy Birthday Ryan, mommy loves you very much!

I totally forgot all about ~Image of the Week~ yesterday.. So sorry.. This one is my prom couple from this past weekend. I absolutely love their choice of blue! It is so beautiful! They are a fine couple and I want to add that he will be entering in a ROTC collage program in the fall, and she will be going to a different collage with a Full scholarship. Congratulations you two!

This little girl is so adorable! This is my pick for this weeks ~Image of the Week~ I had a lot of fun putting fun hats and tutus on her.

~Image of the Week~ time.. Fathers day is coming up in a couple of weeks. June 20th to be exact. Something about seeing a father with his child, during these tender moments, just melts our hearts! I love this photo! Awesome!

~Image of the Week~ Wow weeks go by fast during the summer! I love this photo. Can you guess what his name is? Also, Im super impressed at how well he writes his name.

~Image of the week~ is here again! How fun it is to show something fun like this one. I love to see people laughing like this. You can’t help but to smile when you see images like this one! So everyone SMILE!!

Woot Woot ~Image of the Week~ Sometimes everything falls into place during a beach session.. some people think that full sun is what they want.. but not true.. a bit of haze and clouds can be extra special at that beach. Just like in this image. Love everything about this photo, the sky, the reflection..everything!

~Image of the Week~ Have you ever found a mess and wanted to scream? Well instead.. I took photos of the mess! This was from a few years back, but still very precious to me! Funny thing is I can’t remember if this is Tyler or Ryan.

~Image of the Week~ This weeks image is of my youngest son and my nephew during our fun 4th of July weekend. These boys love to ride around in our powerwheels. I thought it was too cute they were making “hang loose” and “peace” signs with their fingers.

Happy 4th of July – {Brunswick, Ga Photographer}

I hope each end every one of you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I spent our 4th at home with family. We watched fireworks in Darien, Ga and shot a few off ourselves in the backyard.. Oh and lets not forget all the food we ate. We had so so so much food.. but I stopped counting calories when the extended family got here. LOL

I also just wanted to say Thank You to all our armed forces for defending our country and allowing us to continue to be free. Thank you!

Beauty found in the smallest places – {Brunswick, Ga Photographer}

I got the opportunity to have some time when the kids were napping.. I found some flowers in my neighbors yard to photograph…. I will never get tired of taking photos of flowers.. The end results are always so rewarding.

I just love the pink and orange colors.

This image has a perfect vintage feel..

These little guys are so pretty, yet only about the size of your finger nail. They are called Johnny Jump-ups.

I love this one too, so creamy and yummy!

See the white blob in the background.. That is my car.. LOL

Child Photographer – {Brunswick, Ga Photographer}

I had the pleasure meeting up with this 5 year old beauty. For those of you that know me, you know that I wanted a little girl so bad. I was gifted with 3 wonderful energetic boys… If I ever had a girl, I think she would be kinda like her. Beautiful, sweet and so smart! I loved hearing all the knock-knock jokes she told me too.

When choosing me as your photographer, you will be sure to get a personable experience. No cookie cutters here. Being able to setup my small studio in your home allows for everyone to be relaxed and have fun… even your pets. Children love their pets, why not have include them in your portraits too!

Pirate Extravaganza Birthday Party -{Darien, Ga Photographer}

I was excited I was invited to such a fun Pirate Party and also to be the photographer. Everyone was dressed up like pirates and walking around saying pirate things, “Ya olde Mateys” and “Arrrrrrr” LOL

It was really a great party, with activities like the crafts table so the kids could make there own pirate eye patch and hats, oh and also face painting. I really liked the painted beards the best. Thank you so much Susana for inviting me to photograph your party.

This is my beautiful step-daughter Dez. She was visiting all the way from Kansas. She still needed here senior portraits done, so good thing here step-mom is a photographer right? She will graduate in May. We are very proud of her.

Family Portraiture Seminar – {Golden Isles Portrait Photographer}

I had the pleasure attending Sam Puc’s Family Seminar. It was amazing! I came out so inspired. She is incredibly passionate and also emotional towards the few charities that she feels so strongly about. The first being NILMDTS that I am a member of.
The seminar covered family portraiture ranging from posing, marketing ideas, shooting techniques, marketing strategies and gear to extensive marketing plans. I would say that the marketing was the big part of this years seminar. She gave break down month by month marketing ideas and also seasonal marketing ideas. Not only for the big guys with big studios but also great ideas for those that shoot on location only or in a small bedroom studio.
She also did a live family session on stage, which included husband and wife and two small boys about the age of my small boys. (3 and 4) They were a riot for sure. What was nice about watching her work, was how she handled the chaos. You ealize that even she, has the same obstacles that the rest of us photographers have.
I will try to attend the other yearly seminars. She stated there will be 8 more, but not all conducted by her. Next year will be on passion or weddings I guess. That should be fun as well.
