A quick call to schedule an elopement wedding on the beach of Jekyll Island for the upcoming weekend! That is a real elopement that we all have heard of.. and it was spectacular! These two were so happy to have found each other! It was a beautiful summer evening on Driftwood beach for this couple as they said their “I do”. As you take it all in you realize that this is perfect! They also agreed to do some fun trash the dress session at the end.. Which I was so pleased about!! What a great time for fun photography! Say Yes to the Dress Wedding on Jekyll Island, GA Photographer

Say Yes to the Dress – Atlanta and wow what a dress and what a bride it was! While planning her fabulous Jekyll Island destination wedding, she stumbled upon a TLC questionnaire and filled it out. Never thinking much about it, until later when she was struck with her very own wedding dress disaster. She had bought and paid for a wedding dress online, but it did not arrive as planned and she was only days away from her wedding. The producers had contacted her again and the show “Say Yes to the Dress” came to the rescue with a new wedding dress. It was at this time that I got the call from Carla Pryor from St Simons Elopements that this upcoming wedding I was booked for was going to be much bigger and a tons more fun! The wedding was gorgeous and all the amazing details for the most perfect destination beach wedding were in place! Stay tuned for this episode to air estimated Jan. 2012.

Intimate Destination Wedding on St Simons Island, GA Beach

An intimate and sweet elopement at sunset on St. Simons Island, GA. The ceremony was sweet and romantic and took place on the beach with the St. Simons Lighthouse in the background.

These two giggled and laughed and smiled the entire evening and even during the ceremony. Love will make you do that for sure. As the bride and groom (who is European) laughed at “our” southern accents, we hung on to his lovely European accent.

On this day there was a wedding – Jekyll Island Georgia Photography

This day, on this day in July, it was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and these two came together as husband and wife… and what a glorious day that was. They chose the magical island of Jekyll Island, Georgia to say “I do” to each other. This beautiful bride adorned with flower petals in her hair and her groom with a twinkle in his eye for his bride! Best Friends, soul mates together at last!
This bride is so lovely and creative. She made her own bouquet from wildflowers as well as the flowers in her hair. She also wore a necklace made from a stone that was from her grandmother’s ring and carried a handkerchief that is a family heirloom, as well. She would be presenting her groom with the ring that his grandfather wore too. Love, Family and Friendship!

Ahead of the storm on Jekyll Island Beach Photography

This family met me on Jekyll Island with not much hopes of having their beach session due to all the storms in our area. I was persistent that we could still capture some amazing photos for their family. We rushed over to the beach just south of the storm… I knew right off seeing how impressive the clouds were in the background that we all were going to LOVE these photos. To top it off this family is very intrigued with storm clouds anyway..

I absolutely had the best time during this early morning photo session. Double Trouble.. hahaha we did 2 families. These 2 families are good friends, so I worked up a great deal for them. You may recognize the little girl, I have had the pleasure photographing her a couple times before and each time I love her thick long hair and her sweet petiteness.. she is all girl! Meeting a new family was wonderful too, and I was so giddy over their salmon colored clothing. Enjoy these precious photos!

Sea Palms Resort, Perfect Spot for a Southern Wedding {Photographer}

This marvelous Southern Wedding took place on the Golden Isles of St Simons Island, Georgia. It was a fantastic day, with beautiful weather that was not too hot too! The ceremony, which took place outside in a very intimate outdoor courtyard was a relaxed and joyful with a stylish southern atmosphere.
