R&R week with Portraits on Jekyll Island {Georgia Photographer}
It was great to see this family complete again! This wonderful loving husband and father is in the Army and deployed. He was only home for a week I think it was on R&R. Im glad they opted to make their portrait session during his time home. Photographs are so important. If little miss thing looks familiar to you, well you are not crazy. I absolutely love being a photographer. I tell everyone. When I have a client that comes back to me to photograph their children again, I know I am doing something right. I love my job, I love to photograph children and families and I love to work with them too. Its a total package with me. We have fun, with no stress oh and I work fast! It was such a treat to see this family again and with this HANDSOME little guy! He totally rocked this session! Here is his big sister when I photographed her the first time, she was about the same age as he is now. Wow.. how time flys!

Before the Turkey! {Jekyll Island Photographer}
This was Thanksgiving Day.. early morning! If you are from here and you remember on this day we had a thick fog roll in. So there was fog all on the beach. Head and Shoulders Christmas Cards {Jekyll Island Photographer}
I was super excited about this Christmas session. When I got the call, she told me that this session was primarily for her Christmas cards and that she really liked creative things for her cards, they are a big deal to her. I told her I was up for the challenge and started brainstorming some ideas. I gave her a list of choices that I could do and she picked my FAVORITE one. Head and Shoulders! They return with twins after 7 years! {Jekyll Island Photographer}
I got to meet this wonderful family on Jekyll Island during there family vacation. It turns out that 7 years prior to this, they got married at this very location.. to come back 7 years later with twins.. How awesome is that? Birthday Boy Cake Smash Session! -{Jekyll Island, Photographer}

The Twins turn ONE! – {Jekyll Island, GA Photographer}
When I got the phone call from a mother about her twins turning ONE, I was so excited. For one thing, they are TWINS.. I so wanted to photograph twin turning 1.. Oh and that meant there would be CAKE!! In years past, birthday parties was not something that I offered, but after doing a few of them, I am realizing that they are so fun… Now Im getting more and more calls to do them. Oh and, Between weddings and birthdays.. Im eating a ton of cake. LOL

The Whole Family -{Jekyll Island Family Photographer}
Met up with this whole family. Sisters, grand parents, mothers fathers, cousins, aunt and uncles.. and they all managed to be wearing white.. This family has some very strong hands in it. They were visiting our beautiful Jekyll Island and staying at the new Hampton Inn on Jekyll for the celebrations of a 50th year anniversary. Jekyll Island Driftwood Beach and Family – {Jekyll Island Photographer}
I hate to sound like a broken record.. but its true.. I love Jekyll Island. Much of the island is left at its natural state. The entire island is covered with flowers, shrubs, palms, wildlife and huge oaks draping with flowing Spanish moss. Just breath taking. There is just so much on this small island to do and perfect for all photo shoots. Family, beach session, babies, couples, wedding.. can’t forget that… Its perfect. If you have never been to Jekyll…. make a trip there.. You will not regret it.
I met this family on Jekyll Island for their family portraits. They wanted to start their Summer with a fun vacation in our beautiful Golden Isles. We all headed to Driftwood beach to do their session, which ended up being a perfect location for this family full of boys!
A little bit about Driftwood… its like nothing you have seen before. This beach has been on Discovery, Travel Channel and I think Good Morning America. When people see it for the first time.. they say, “WOW”! It gets its name from the abundance of driftwood scattered throughout the beach. It looks like someone delicately placed them all around like sculptures of nature. You got to check it out!
