Diva and a Cake Smash Session at the studio in Darien, GA

This little Diva came to me for her first portraits at Jeannie Reeves Photography when she was only 3 months old, then again when she was 9 months old and now at a whopping ONE years old!

I truly adore this family and their lovely children! One year cake smash sessions are hit and miss.. they are fun either way, but you just never know what you are going to get. Funny thing is you would think that a child this age having the go ahead to smash a cake and make a HUGE mess would.. but seldom do. Its Funny.

Seriously, no matter the fussy or temper a one year old can have.. we will wait on him or her to have some fun and make some memories that everyone can be proud of! So if you asked this sweet babies mama how she was during her cake smash session you would probably get, “she cried the entire time”. LOL I sure can’t tell she cried that much! hahaha

Easter Twin boys! How much fun would it be to have twins? What is so funny, each of these boys are so totally different. I remember back in the day we thought twins had to be totally alike. Well not true, not only not looking alike, but also not liking the same thing or acting the same. I think it is so awesome to witness each of their unique personalities even at this age.

R&R week with Portraits on Jekyll Island {Georgia Photographer}

It was great to see this family complete again! This wonderful loving husband and father is in the Army and deployed. He was only home for a week I think it was on R&R. Casual Holiday Studio Portraits – {Darien, GA Photographer}

During the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas the children come home and the grandparents visit more often. You may even have brothers, uncles and aunts around more… What a lovely time to get family portraits done.

This small family, the kids have grown and moved out of the home.. but for this short bit they were home so we schedule a family photo session at the studio. As the years go on, these family sessions will get bigger with added spouses and children I am sure.

Holiday/Christmas Spirit! – {Darien, Ga Photographer}

I have heard more and more people this year are just not feeling the mood for the Holidays. You can drive around neighborhoods and pass 10 houses with no lights, to find only 1 house lit up. My house is no exception.. not one box was pulled down from the attic this year. Not that we didn’t want to, but we just did not have time and we are going to be out of town for Christmas anyway. Then all of a sudden it hit me.. out of no where… It was seeing the faces of my children experiencing the joy and wonder of the Christmas. I wanted to do a Christmas photo shoot of my younger boys at the studio.. and had invited Santa to join us for the special session… When Santa walked in my boys eyes lit up.. At that moment my heart filled more with love and joy than I could hope for. I will forever cherish these photos, more than I could cherish lights on my home or Santa and snowman nik naks all around the house.
